Frisco, Tx (5k/10K) Walk Sat Apr 26th

The Dallas Trekkers are hosting this event.  The walk route will include the Texas Sculpture Garden, Dr Pepper Ballpark and Hockey Arena, the Bronze Cattle Drive and other sites in south Frisco.

Start/Finish point and registration:  Gazebo Burger, 6801 Warren Parkway, Frisco, TX.

START TIME: 8:00-11:00 am.  Must be finished by 2:00 PM.

This is a Volksmarching event and you need to register to get a start card. We request a $3.00 donation to help defray the cost of hosting the event.  There will be a 5K and 10K option.

This is not a speed event. You are encouraged to bring along your children and walk/talk and spend some time together enjoying the great outdoors.

When you finish (anytime before 2:00 PM) you turn in your start card. If you are an official Volkssporter you will have an Event and/or Distance Record Book. When you turn in your start card you will receive a stamp in your record books.

If you do not as yet have an AVA record book, they will be for sale at the start/finish. Just ask for a new walker’s packet. The packet is $5.00 but it contains three coupons for free registration ($9.00 value) as well as both an Event and a Distance book.

Directions to Walk Location:  From tollway, take Gaylord/Warren exit, then west on Warren Pkwy to Gazebo Burger on south side of Warren Pkwy at Gaylord Pkwy. (Note: Gaylord Pkwy curves from Dallas North Tollway west, then north to Warren Pkwy.
