All are welcome to join us on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at this event hosted by the Tarrant County Walkers.  Choose a from  a 5K, 10K, or 15K trail (rated 2-B) to explore this natural preserve.  Eagle Mountain Park is a 400-acre park that has been kept in its natural state, so that visitors can observe the land in its true form. Its mission is to preserve and protect the plants, animals and landscape that make it so unique.  Beautiful views and overlooks of Eagle Mountain Lake are also part of the hike. Informational signs at the parks entrance provide explanations of local plants, trees, animals and landscapes, as well as insight into the history of the park and its trail system.
