Berry Springs Park and Preserve (Austin) 5k/10K – Sat Nov. 1st

Park Entrance

Come join us for a walk around this beautiful 300 acre park which once was the homestead of John Berry (1786-1866).  Walkers will view the old family house, the Berry cemetery and the site of his dam and mill. The original pecan grove provides shade and tranquility.

This is not a speed event. You are encouraged to bring along your children and walk/talk and spend some time together enjoying the great outdoors.  All are welcome to come walk with us.

Start/Finish point and registration:  Berry Springs Pavilion, 1801 CR 152, Georgetown, TX 78626

START TIME: 8:00 – 11:00.   Walkers must be off trails by 2 p.m.

This is a Volksmarching event and you need to register to get a start card. We request a $3.00 per person donation to help defray the cost of hosting the event.

When you finish (anytime before 2 p.m.) you turn in your start card. If you are an official Volkssporter and have an Event and/or Distance Record Book you will receive a stamp in your record books.
