Spring Creek Greenway Volksmarch (Spring, TX) Sat 02/28/15

PundtPark

The Houston Happy Hikers are hosting a 5k walk and a 10k walk this weekend.  The walk will include the Dennis Johnston Park. Trail is mostly asphalt base between the parks with packed dirt trails within each of the parks.

To participate in either of these walking events you are required to register at the start.  Registration is anytime from 9 am – until Noon.  Registration costs $3.00. You will carry a start card with you and at checkpoints your card will be marked.

This is not a speed competition. You are encouraged to bring along your children and walk/talk and spend some time together enjoying the great outdoors.

When you finish (anytime before 3 pm) you turn in your start card. If you are an official Volkssporter you will have an Event and/or Distance Record Book. When you turn in your start card you will receive a stamp in your record books.

Start Point:  John Pundt Park Pavilion, 4129 Spring Creek Dr, Spring, TX 77373

Driving Directions:  From Houston: I-45 north, exit No. 70A (FM2920-Tomball-Old Town Spring, Louetta Rd.), move to right lane on feeder; turn right on Louetta Rd.
