Come join us for a walk that will pass through one of the most ethnically diverse neighborhoods in Houston, with many cultures represented in schools, ethnic restaurants and businesses, houses of worship, street signs, and yard landscaping. Part of the 10K route is along Harwin, a modern bazaar of small shops selling many different items from floor tile, furniture and rugs, to t-shirts, jewelry, and luggage.

This is not a speed event. You are encouraged to bring along your children and walk/talk and spend some time together enjoying the great outdoors.  All are welcome to come walk with us.

Start/Finish point and registration:  Lansdale Park -Picnic Pavilion, 8201 Roos, Houston, 77036

START TIME:  9am-12pm  Walkers must be off trails by 3 p.m.

This is a Volksmarching event and you will need to register to get a start card. We request a $3.00 per person donation to help defray the cost of hosting the event.

When you finish (anytime before 3 p.m.) you turn in your start card. If you are an official Volkssporter and have an Event and/or Distance Record Book you will receive a stamp in your record books.
